a day to say THANK YOU. A day that we should stop and remember those who have served/are serving this county. We thank you all!

Now, on a scrappy note,I've been working on a layout of my sweet little girl Alexis. I had this cute picture of here eating one of her favorite snacks- a cupcake! So when I found this paper at my LSS- Sweet Memories Scrapbooks I was ready to work on this layout. I used SWEET LIFE by K*I Memories. Such a sweet line of papers, cute softies, and adorable Sweet Life Badges (used the orange "YUM" on this layout). Check out this great line of paper on their website. I'm sure you'll love it!

Scrapbook Chicks May kit

After a long and scrappy weekend, I finally got the chance to put May kit by Scrapbook Chicks to good use. Here are a few of the layouts I worked on this weekend.

My love for American Crafts

I find myself working more and more with American Craft products everyday. I guess I can say it's at the top of my list in scrapbook manufacturers. Check out the beautiful look of Botanique (HERE) collection. With more then twenty coordinating patterned papers feature glitter accents and foil finish look I'm sure you'll find a look you'll love to work with. 

Take a look at this layout I made of my niece  Maddie. I love the look of these papers together.

National Scrapbook weekend

National Scrapbook Weekend was a blast. I spent the weekend at Sweet Memories scrapbooking my way to the Scrap-Academy Awards. I may have not got much done that weekend, but it was nice hanging with a few of my friends and making a few new ones.

I love my Cricut

   This months Focus Team Electronic Cutting project for Sweet Memories Scrapbooks I decided to make an 8-1/2 x 11 layout using the Cricut. Check out this simple, but sweet layout of my little girl Alexis.

I used Cricut Accent Essentials Cartridge to make all flowers in this layout. 

 If you have a Cricut it's time to take full advantage of it. I want to challenge you! Make a layout or a card this week and use the Cricut machine to make your make focus on your project. You may use brads, buttons, ribbon, or bling to accent your layout.

Can you believe it??? It's May already! A nice package was waiting for me today when I got home. I love receiving goodies in the mail, specially when it's scrapbook goodies. Take a look at what was my box.

Chick-a-dee Layout - April kit

When you need to fabulous look you grab for that one little black dress, right?

When I need a fabulous kit with all the works I reach for Scrapbook Chicks April Kit.  One of my favorite papers from this months kit I have to say has been the Head of Cabbage by Jillibean Soup. I love these adorable little bird houses. It's perfect for my bird house picture.

Check out a layout I've been workng on with a great mini kit by Crazy Daisy Kit Co. In this layout the mix of "Paper Doll" Collection by Crate Paper and October Afternoon- "Fly A Kite" work so well together.

I cut out all the flowes from the "Olivia Grace" paper from Paper Doll collection by Crate Paper. Then added a few PRIMA flowers.
