Great weekend

Had a great & relaxing weekend. My aunt kept the kids so I could scrap all day long Saturday. It was really nice to have a full day to myself. I worked on a few layouts with the April kit for Two Chicks Designs. With each month passing every kit gets better and better. I always say it's my favorite kit. And truly it is. I can't wait to share with you what's in April kit.
Sneak peeks coming soon.

In the meantime check out a few layouts made with
Two Chicks Designs kit for March.
Come check out what all the other Chick-a-dee's have been up to this past month with their March kit.

"Pictures from today"

Wow what a beautiful day it is. After having months of cold weather and rainy days a day like this was much needed. So this morning after dropping Joshua off to school Alexis & I took advantage of this wonderful weather. We walked around Carrollton Square for a while, and while out I took a few photo shots of Alexis. I think they turned out so cute. I'm starting to love this camera more & more everyday!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hope you all recovered from St Patrick's Day. Last night my husband & kids dressed up in their green wear for dinner and I was able to get a few pictures before we left. Of course when you get them together their pics turn out a little silly as always. Then off to a wonderful dinner at Olive Garden. The night turned out to be a wonderful evening with the family.
I'm lucky to have you guys in my life!

Over the past few weeks I have been playing around with Crazy Daisy mini kit. Let me tell you everytime I look at a layout made from this kit I am amazed. I am a very embellished scrapper, but when it came time to do this layout I fell in love with the simplicity of it. The background paper Blue Floral - Artsy Urban by Melody Ross is so cool. It has a crackled look.
I then took the star trim, used it as a mask and added a little glimmer mist. Added a Inspiration Card - Artsy Urban by Melody Ross, an embellishment here & there and placed a sweet picture of my kids from 4th of July. After doing this layout I'm really starting to love the simple look of layouts.

Scrap with All INCLUSIVE

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I know I did! I spend most of my time scrapbooking away at the STUDIO @ Sweet Memories Scrapbooks. While there I was able to knock out a few layouts as well as chit chat with a few friends. Check out a few layouts done with the new - All INCLUSIVE by Bella BLVD. This is such a great line for summer time.
Happy scrappin!

Friday

She sprouted wings... to fly

Yippee, It's Friday ya'll.
The weekend is almost HERE!
You know what that means? No more driving kids back & forth to school, or mom chores. I get the best of both worlds-family time & SCRAP TIME. As of right now the countdown has begun.

So last week I shared with you a great kit from Crazy Daisy kit Co. This week I was able to work with this great mini kit. Once I got started I was amazed how much was in there. The cross between Melody Ross and PRIMA made my heart flutter. These are two of my favorite lines.

This layout I'm sharing with you is one of my favorite from this kit.
Journaling-  There are two bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is WINGS.
And these embellishments are just the icing on the cake.
For the one's that know me know I "LOVE" to embellish!
Everyday my little girl loves to dress up. No matter what outfit she has on you can count on her wearing a cute set of fairy wings. When I saw this card from Melody Ross paper line I knew I had a perfect picture. With the mixture of paper lines, colors and embellishments this mini kit is a fabulous kit to work with. Check out all that Crazy Daisy (here) has to offer.

I hope you all have a wonderful & blessed weekend
filled with memories to scrapbook.

Tuesday

Two Chicks March Kit is HERE!!!!!!

We all enjoy recieveing happy mail right? Well, I get super excited each month my scrapbooking kit from Two Chicks Designs comes in the mail. I have been scrapbooking my little heart away all morning. I have been so busy  I haven't had the chance to clean up behind myself. So when the cable guys came today they were a little curious what I was up to?! After telling them about it, I looked over and one of the guys was picking through the cute little take out container that contains the embellishments from the kit. All I could say was, Do you see anything you like lol? Which then was followed with, What is this used for? hehe Of course I showed him. So, if a man can find Chick'n Feed very interesting then as a scrapbooker/card maker will love it to!!!

So after all the interruptions today, I had a very productive day. I was able to get a few things done around the house as well as a layout from Two Chicks March kit.

The whole layout was made from one sheet of bazzill cardtock and a sheet of Devonshire collection from KAISER CRAFT. All the wonderful embellishments came from the take-out container filled with Chick'n Feed, Chick'n Feathers and Chick'n Noodle. This kit is so awesome. I can't wait to dive into the rest of the kit this evening.

Hope you've had a wonderful and blessed day!

Friday

What a week I had...

So sorry I have been MIA for a week. After having a wonderful birthday Saturday (which I spent scrappin all night Saturday night with friends) I came home to a VERY sick husband. He thought he ate some really bad cold pizza that made him ill. After he spent all day Sunday in bed by 10pm that night I knew there was more to his illness.
Being the man he is He got up Monday morning and went right to work.
That morning I took the kids to school then came home to fix me a little breakfast. After eating, I then too became ill. At that moment I knew the flu bug was sneaking around the house. So ever since then between taking the kids to school, swimming lesson, taken care of my children, and trying to keep the house from falling apart while daddy is at work I have been in bed. There was very little time to rest myself back to good health, cause mommy is an on going JOB!

Now that I'm 100% well, I can tell you the exciting news. Saturday morning I went to the mailbox to find some yummy goodies from Crazy Daisy. Check out this great mini kit I received:

I haven't had the chance to even touch these goodies. But now that i'm well, it's time to get to work!
It's going to be a very busy, but scrap happy weekend!
